Eric Knabel is a physician in Bloomington, Indiana, naively clinging to the idea of the traditional family doctor. He is fortunate to live with his spouse/muse Robin, as well as their two children. He has had short stories published in the Unsettling Reads anthologies Hope Screams Eternal and Summer Bludgeon. His entries in the NYC Midnight Short Story Challenge are frequently selected for advancement. When he is not sharing his new hard rock discoveries with his son or learning the nuances of K-Pop from his daughter, he stares at his guitar with every intention of learning how to play it. His writing has become a wonderful diversion from the frustrations of 21st century medicine, and he hopes one day to be half the man that his dog Nestle thinks he is.
